FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • BOLD is a men’s community focused -“TO PROVIDE STRUCTURE FOR MEN TO GROW IN CHRIST & THE GIFTS HE’S GIVEN!”

  • BOLD is inspired by Scripture’s command to be courageous and unwavering in our faith. The lightning bolt in the logo symbolizes quickness—a reminder to take swift action to eliminate sin, pursue growth, and respond to God’s calling. BOLD also reflects the posture of our hearts: standing firm in God’s truth, living humbly, and faithfully carrying out His purpose. It’s about rejecting complacency, stepping out of our comfort zones, and taking risks to live a life of intentional, bold faith. (Joshua 1:9)

  • A Scorecard is crucial because, as Peter Drucker said, "You can't manage what you don't measure." By measuring daily actions, like Bible reading and prayer, you stay accountable and intentional in your walk with Christ, ensuring you’re consistently growing in faith and alignment with His will.

  • You should send your money deposit to your accountability partner and provide them with the signed contract before the start of the monthly challenge. Ideally, this happens a day or two before the 1st of the month to ensure everything is set and ready to go. The contract outlines your commitment, the scorecard tasks, and the agreed deposit amount, so having it finalized early helps you and your partner start strong.

  • The number seven in Scripture represents completeness and perfection, as seen in the seven days of creation (Genesis 2:2-3) and throughout the Bible, such as the seven times Joshua marched around Jericho (Joshua 6:15) or Jesus saying to forgive “seventy-seven times” (Matthew 18:22). By setting the standard at 77%, we’re reminding ourselves of God’s call to be complete and fully committed to Him. It’s not about perfection but about striving daily to grow into the men God has designed us to be, fully embracing His purpose for our lives.
